This project came to life spontaneously, rooted in the places I knew for eighteen years, the first subjects I ever photographed.
Set in Sardinia, where I was born and lived until 2017, Casa Nostalgia traces a return to the familiar: a landscape that feels like home, yet carries memories, silences, sunlight, fears.
In the summer of 2024, someone dear to me came to visit. I tried to show them what my life had been, staying close to home, retracing old routines, inhabiting what once felt ordinary.
The landscape remained the same, but the climate had changed. So had we.
Still, everything about that place feels like something I miss, even if I know it can never be as it was.
